I have replaced - fan, thermostat, water pump, radiator, hoses, temperature sensor, head gaskets and even heads. All to the tune of about $4,000. That is typical of a low coolant level, or having air in your engine cooling system. The coolant level needs to be checked. If low, then fill and bleed the air out of the system. If full, there can still be air in the system from the Thermostat change out.The front disks are just warm. Maybe not even as hot as the right rear (not overheating) drum. That tells me 100% that it is a problem related to that wheel only, as the front brakes do 70% or so of the braking effort, so most of the heat energy should be in them.
